Auntie Mary

I am sad to learn that we've lost a very dear family member this week.  My very loved great aunt Mary passed away yesterday after a brief illness.  She was my grandmother's eldest sister and lived a long and healthy life until recently.  She didn't always have an easy life but she always had a smile on her face and was an amazing example of how to rise above and get through hardships.

These are the times when being away from home is really the most difficult.  If we even lived close enough for me to drive in 3-5 hours I would be there for the funeral but being as far as we are I have to live with not being able to be there for everyone and myself.  It feels very disrespectful and I wish I could find a way to fly home to support everyone who is so sad.

So today we honour aunt Mary and wish everyone a long and healthy life as she enjoyed.  She's the beauty in the middle in purple.  We love you Aunt Mary and will miss you XO
