After over a week in the English countryside we decided to brave the crowds and beauty of London. Andre found us the most amazing flat right in the heart of Covent Garden. We enjoyed walking all over (with a few tube rides thrown in to rest) and visiting as many sights as possible. We were able to take the kids to 2 musicals (Matilda and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory) and 1 play (Mousetrap - which is the longest running play in history). All shows were outstanding and the kids did great. enjoyed every minute.

The Tower of London. We were in london over the 100th Anniversary of the 1st World War so there were many tributes. This was one of the largest and was a sea of ceramic red poppies commemorating all the soldiers who lost their lives for our freedom.

Residences and other buildings. The Queen has a residence in the corner (you may be able to see the guard who is always stationed there). the Yoeman live in the other buildings.
