Not sure what to say or where to begin. This is our 1st blog.
It's odd to think of putting your life on a page and making it sound exciting.
I guess I should start with a purpose. We thought this would be a nice way to keep family and friends updated on our lives. Sometimes it might actually be intersting...most of the time it will be rather "everyday"....likely what you'd hear if you called the house and asked how we're doing. We hope you enjoy it!
Today we took the kids to Little Ray's Reptile Show....they loved it...snakes, a baby tiger, a 3 legged alligator, face painting and a ventriloquist - what more would a 6 and 4 year old want?
I managed to steal an hour to myself for shopping today - a true Valentine's gift. I popped into the camera store and admire lenses and flashes....I did get my camera cleaned which is long overdue. feels a bit like going to the spa - you come out feeling refreshed and ready to go. I would love to have a day to myself to photograph things around here. nothing fancy just the objects of our lives. Maybe I will try for that over the next month.
Nothing exciting planned for the week ahead, I hope the Gods of snow and childrens' activities don't curse us with a bad combination of either.
We are enjoying the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and watch as often as we can...as I type Andre is watching the mens moguls. I wonder how long until a Canadian wins gold at home? I wonder who it will be?
**Update** congratulations to Alex Bilodeau!! Our 1st Gold medal on home soil.
