no such thing as natural beauty.....

I saw this recently on the sign of a local salon. I get they're trying to convince me to buy services but a statement like that makes me want to buy nothing from them! For some reason it really bothers me...that we all need to be plastic to be beautiful? then there's something wrong with perception not with our bodies!!

Loving how the olympics are going! hooray for Canada!!!

Today we had a big dumping of snow - snow day for all! luckily Dalhousie was closed so I was able to be off with the kids. We bundled up and headed over to the Napiers and the kids had a blast! Maria was a superstar...had them colouring and playing outside...cooked Jake and Sofia lunch (while I popped out for a bit) and we stayed all afternoon.

It's really pretty outside...but a pain to get around. Will try to take photos of it all tomorrow...must figure out how to post photos on this??
