More experiments

Lots going on in our world these days. Pierre, Sara and the girls have moved to Paris - so excited for them. Love hearing about their adventures and can't wait to visit! Robert and Michelle are soon leaving NZ but poor Michelle is really unwell and having more and more....and MORE tests done. Hopefully something positive happens soon so she can get on the mend. ...Aunt Eleanor has finally moved house and it sounds like she's really excited about her new space - can't wait to see it and talk to her. Great Grandma is in a new space and seems much happier. We visited about a month ago and she wasn't entirely sure who we were but she knew we were important people in her life. She was so happy and engaging. Smiling all the time and telling us stories of when she was little. The kids did great - although they knew she wasn't the same as she used to be she just kept smiling at them and telling them they were very special -they couldn't help but smile back.

In the photography world...a few other keen photographer friends and I have started a facebook group to chat about our discoveries and questions - it's been really helpful! I went out yesterday with 4 girlfriends to practice some techniques.

I'm learning about the combination of ISO, f-stop and shutter speed to adjust for lighting and movement. It's very interesting but I'm finding it a slow process.

below are my images showing examples of early morning, late afternoon & indoor light at different focal lengths. I can't change my ISO on this camera very much (i need to upgrade my camera to really get into that)
