family fun

We spent the weekend at Digby Pines Resort - what an amazing spot and so family friendly.  I'd never been to Digby or seen photos of the resort, both were beautiful!  We had such fun.  http://www.digbypines.ca/

The hotel is over 100 years old and after WWI it became a Dominion Atlantic Railway property, the current building opened in 1929 and is a beautiful NS historic site.

We played many games of giant chess and even a bit of shuffle board.

We took some nice long walks, went down to the beach and just sat and enjoyed the views

and lazed in the pool as often as we could.  

We all had an amazing time, food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and helpful and there was so much to see and do...i forgot to get pictures of the family scavenger hunt we did Sunday morning.  That will have to wait until our next visit!
