Andre is away in Newfoundland and the kids and I are having a slow summer morning before heading off to the Waeg for lessons (http://www.waegwoltic.ca).
A few weeks ago it was my mom's birthday. We were lucky enough to be able to spend it with her this year - hooray! that's always a cause worth celebrating - when you live far from your family missing all those little moments really take a toll. So. We treated mom to her favourite Atlantic Canadian highlights. Brunch in Lunenburg, afternoon at the beach and Lobster Supper at the Shore Club. It was a gorgeous sunny day - and I was so distracted by all the fun I forgot to take pictures until dinner. oops!
