We are slowing down now...all shopping is done - phew! and all packages have been shipped or delivered (save a few still to go to friends in the city).
The kids have been so good this month. It is hard to be young in December. We've had the tree up for weeks and they have been busy planning their Christmas gift for Andre - shhhh...don't tell...it's a surprise :)...they have also completed their birthday presents for Andre (who will be 40 in March.) We've decided to choose 40 of his favourite things...then the kids painted popsicle sticks and wrote out those things (20 each) and he will choose 2 sticks (1 from each child) everyday until he's enjoyed all 40 of his gifts! some are big ie. going to the movies...some are small ie. 40 hugs and kisses.
Earlier in December we had the school Christmas concerts...and this past weekend both played at their holiday piano recital.
We also celebrated a very lovely early Christmas with meme and pepe on the weekend. Yummy meal, great company and many many presents.
wishing you all a happy and safe holiday full of laughter and love.
