let it snow!

January began with a bang and hasn't let up. we've had a lot of "winter" weather. Although I have to say, if it's going to be winter in Canada and it's going to be cold; I would much rather a good layer of snow and proper weather to freeze water so we can ski and skate and play in the uniqueness that is Canada in the winter.  The kids have made the best of it and we have been lucky enough to miss the polar vortex that seems to be hitting everyone west of us.  So, we are having comfortably cold weather and there is lots of opportunity to be outside enjoying it.

Silliness

Poor jolly Santa is stuck in the snow - won't dampen his light though HA.

Snow forts are fun for all ages.

I have a few shots of the kids skiing on my phone but we are currently out of space on our hard drive and need to do some file juggling to allow us to download anything else.

I am happy to say that 2014 has begun on many positive notes and we hope this continues for the rest of the year.  Our family has been blessed with not 1 but 2 healthy baby girls.  We now have a beautiful new niece and cousin Ayla LeBlanc (congrats to mommy Michelle and daddy Robert) and another cousin Ivy Harvey (congrats to mommy Sarah and daddy Greg).  We look forward to watching them grow and send lots of love to everyone.
