I was lucky enough to get home to Ontario last weekend to spend my dad's 70th birthday with him (and also an early 65th birthday celebration for his sister my aunt Luci) and to meet baby Ivy! What a special gift to be able to be there in person and connect with loved ones. Thank you to meme, pepe and Andre who picked up where I left off and had a great weekend.
baby Ivy is just so perfect and sweet. I could have snuggled with her all day - don't worry mommy and daddy I realize she's your beautiful girl and that really I could be of more help if I cleaned the house or did the laundry for you while YOU snuggled with her. Next time I promise to be less of a baby hog HA.

happy birthday dad and papa!! you don't look a day over 60! We are so glad I could be there for your special day and wish you a year full of special days. 2014 will bring lots of wonderful adventures for you we are sure.
A special birthday gift.
I am also blessed to have spent a little while with my wonderful grandmother Ethel Stadler. She is a woman who is brave, kind, strong, gentle, thoughtful and so loving. While she may not remember who I am she always gives me wonderful smiles and I know somewhere in her heart she connects our lives. While I can't be there every Sunday to have lunch with her I cherish every time I get to visit.
