we did it

Painted the foundation and added mulch to the gardens.  What a change eh? It finally looks "finished"....we will continue to tweak the plantings and move things around next spring but 4 years later and the front of the house finally looks much better!!

We also want to wish happy Anniversary to meme and pepe! what a lovely day to have a wedding anniversary...another year together as you head into another summer :)  wishing you both many more years of happiness together.

Tomorrow we have the school BBQ - an end of year celebration where we welcome the incoming primaries (starting sept. 2012) and bid farewell to the outgoing grade 6's.  fingers crossed the summer weather holds!

Poor Andre has been sick this week.  He's trudging through and managing to get to work everyday but by the time he comes home his poor head feels like it might explode.  We're managing but hopefully he feels better soon!

I am very sad to say i have 1 french class left for this session. I know it won't be my last french class ever...but it's been such fun i'm sad to take a break for the summer.  Although, onto lazy summer days weeeee.....
